Another bill by Assemblymember Josh Hoover would create a blueprint for schools to teach kids how social media and AI affect their mental health and behavior.
“We really believe this bill is going to help prepare kids in their health classes in high school and in middle school, to really develop those habits early,” Hoover said. “So they’re not getting sucked into really the addictive nature of social media.”
