SACRAMENTO – Today Assemblyman Josh Hoover (R-Folsom) proudly announced that Ippolito’s Trattoria has been named the June 2025 Small Business of the Month for the 7th Assembly District.
Ippolito’s Trattoria is a small Italian restaurant that was started after the owners’ eldest son, Kristopher lost his life far too young. Cooking had always been a large part of their family’s lives so owners Nickolas and Sabrina decided to open a restaurant to keep their son’s spirit alive. They pride themselves on making authentic Italian dishes, using recipes that have been passed down through generations. From their homemade Fettuccine Alfredo and Lasagna to the welcoming atmosphere, you’ll feel the warmth the moment you step through the door. To the Ippolitos, their restaurant is more than a business – it’s a tribute to their beloved son.
“This family-owned restaurant offers more than just delicious Italian food — it’s a place built on love and community,” Assemblyman Hoover said. “Their story is compelling. Turning grief into a family legacy is inspirational and illustrates how food is a celebration that brings people together.”
Assemblyman Hoover is proud to recognize Ippolito’s Trattoria as the June 2025 Small Business of the Month and thanks them for their continued contributions to the 7th Assembly District. You can read more about their inspiring story‚ “From Grief to Grace‚” or book reservations for your next night out on their website.
Josh Hoover represents Assembly District 7, which includes the cities of Citrus Heights, Folsom, and Rancho Cordova and the unincorporated communities of Carmichael, Fair Oaks, Foothill Farms, Gold River, Mather, McClellan Park, North Highlands, Orangevale, and Rosemont.
